At Theodor Primary School, visual art is integral to the curriculum.
The children are given the opportunity to
exercise and engage their creative brains,
expand their knowledge,
exchange ideas,
experiment with a variety of media and topics
and above all creatively explore the world around them.
The Art Room is a dynamic place where children are encouraged to think creatively, be individual and produce interesting and varied artwork. The Art Program strives to expand the student’s knowledge of the elements of art and the principles of design, as well as introduce them to the work of artists around the world, the cultural diversity in art and an appreciation of all art forms.
The children are introduced to a variety of art techniques that form the foundation of the art program and have access to a wide range of art media and materials.
